hard to imagine anything close to a notion of this at a time like this. but i wonder, if we can carve out some time to imagine together what that could be because we watched ones version of it. how do we bridge what is now (absolutely horrendous violence) and what we envision our experience to be? what is “perfect”? a utopia? what does that look like to you? how does it feel in your body? can it be in the appreciation of the simple, quotidian and mundane? or are we so accustomed to the notion that perfect/great/good is grandiose and an unattainable reality that it will always be out of reach? that we continuously strive for? what breeds contentment? what constitutes enough? my dear friend recommended this film to me feeling a sense of peace on their heart after taking it in. maybe for a few hours we can achieve that feeling together.
