GIVEAWAY PARTY / HAND-DYED TASSEL GARLAND

TASSEL GARLAND GIVEAWAY / tahsin, the good

these are the last few days of the giveaway party and next up is a tassel garland. it just so happens to be a product that i plan to sell in my shop and i am sooo in love with them. they are hand-dyed and made of spun cotton so they have a very global-chic look to them. perfect for adding an eclectic feel to a modern nursery or toddler space.

i’ll also be selling single tassels to hang off the door. i have loved tassels for as long as i can remember. growing up all of my favorite tasbeehs (like a rosary) had a nice full gathering of strings holding the bead together at the top. i would play with the tassels to keep me occupied during long majlis’s.

anyway, i found a pair of beautiful tassels on my trip to morocco a few years back and keep them hanging off of my front entrance doors, like the moroccans do. apparently they are used a talismans in a similar way as the evil eye is used. i kind of like that vibe. so, as these tassels are made for your home, they are filled with prayers for love, security, safety and peace on whomever they “protect”.

i’m really liking the unique pastel-like colours. so is niyya! and daaniya knows her tassel is part of her room decor now. when i moved her pink door tassel to use if for something she was up in arms wondering why it wasn’t where it should be!

this is also the perfect shower gift or newborn gift for a close friend whose decorating style you know well. so enter and try your luck at winning friends!

today you can win one 5 piece tassel garland hand-dyed in the colour of your choice. we’ll talk colours once the winner is chosen.

here’s how to enter:

1. tell me about the style of your kids room or your dream kids room and where you would place your tassel. there are so many ways to hang your tassel, be it on your headboard, around your crib, gathered together as a mobile, etc. let me know! i like to envision it!

****for additional entries, head to my instagram, follow along and repost the photo of our tassel (you won’t be able to miss it) with this hashtag - #ttglovestassels

two winners will be chosen on friday march 28th. sorry, this giveaway is open to north american readers only. the retail value of this prize is $60.00.

  1. Love these!! I would hang them as a mobile until my son is out of the put everything in my mouth phase!!

  2. Choosing between which room would be hard. But mostly I would choose it for my daughters room since she will be switching to a big girls room! In most likely pinks and purples! Along the headboard of her big girl bed is where I would place it ❤️❤️❤️

  3. My daughters room is a work in progress because we recently moved into our new home. With a baby and toddler I haven’t had the time or energy to complete her room, hopefully I get to this soon. I think the tassel garland would really spruce up the space. I would hang it on a large wall adjacent to her crib that is currently bare. I would like to have book shelves within her reach positioned below the garland. I’m hoping to find some comfy cushions to throw on the floor to create a reading nook for my little girl.

  4. sounds great! making the transition from nursery to big girls room is a big step! it’s definitely nice to have new things in the space to make it special and exciting for your girl! good luck!

  5. thank you! and that sounds like a great idea! my littlest one constantly has something in her mouth. and she’s quick too, so I always have to keep my eyes on her or things out of reach. good luck!

  6. I’d like to hang a green one on my headboard… I think it would brighten up my room a lot!

  7. So I have never really been into tassles (even though they’re cute) but I mostly like the idea of warding off evil eye so for that reason I would probably hang these off Amarya’s headboard :) Not sure what color since I haven’t nailed her new room yet ; )
