i’m going short. like super short. they call it a baby bob. you know, so as not to be mistaken with the lob aka the long bob. and funny enough, this is like 100 percent niyya’s hairstyle right now.

it’s been a long time coming too. just before niyya was born i did the rihanna side-shave (oh yes i did) and now that piece is the perfect length for my new look and to even things all out. and yeah, i realize that was over 18months ago - my hair grows slowly ok?

i think its timely to do a chop now too as it’s breast cancer awareness month and i have never yet donated any of my hair. this is really the longest it has ever grown. so i’m going to do my bit and hopefully a warrior survivor queen can make good use of my locks.

i’m taking these photos to my stylist for inspo. i’m not sure yet if i’m going to go blunt like jessie bush (pictured up top) or more choppy like yasmin sewell (brown and tousled). either way, i don’t plan on doing much with it when it is cut. this is wash and wear hair ladies.

wavy, undone, a little messy, but oh so chic.

and true, most times you wont see it - being under the toque or turban, but it will still be there. for me and i’m happy with that.
